Post-Jam Plans and Minor Balance Updates


Greetings! 

The GMTK Game Jam 2023 results have been published, and Vampire: No Survivors was ranked 40th overall and was even briefly featured in the showcase video ๐Ÿ˜Ž! But even more importantly, we have been totally blown away by how many of you have been enjoying the game! We have decided to further develop the project into a full game with permanent progression, multiple levels, and more minions and survivors. We already have some really cool things planned, but before we start working on the real deal, here's a small balance patch that hopefully makes some strategies less OP:

- Minotaur acceleration is decreased, making them suffer more from being stunned.

- Trap chests can now be disarmed by Thieves, and they can chain-explode.

- The map is slightly wider, allowing more space to spawn minions.

about a year ago I watched Backpack Hero gain traction on itch.io and use that to run a kickstarter and turn their tiny project into a serious development project. I see a similar opportunity for this game and I hope you've considered the possibility yourselves :)

Would be nice if there's a way to zoom out, or at least make it fits so that we don't need to move the camera/screen up and down.
Don't know if it is just me, but the screen felt too close.
